Joel Meyerowitz. Aftermath

This image expressed a very powerful story of aftermath WTC site. I saw heavy debris on the ground with a fire still on. I think this photograph was taken at the early evening night of the day. The mass blue color cast over the entire photograph may represent the reflection of the blue skyline. The fire was a unique component in this composition because it showed how intense that the fire still on from day to night. The lighting in this image is very crucial to make the difference because everything stands out. This refer the color of this image is complimentary; blue and orange. Therefore the fire became the visual focus point of its surrounding area. This image has a greatly impact to retell the story.
